Race circuits Database

The last few months I’ve been both updating the pipeline of creating the world in 3D with the new tools of Houdini 17.5 but also made the switch from Windows to Linux. All seems to be working now , so it’s time for the next step : building a database of all the race circuits in the world.

So yeah, it’s done. Release will be this or next week, first I need to make a small promotion video and test the AI a bit more. I’ve also added some more images to the projects /track framework page.

Done @ Glassworks

Today was the last day for now at Glassworks, I had a blast working on a commercial which involved quite some Houdini crowd work. Can’t wait to see the final product!


I’ve also started working on a dinosaur project for MCW Creative Agency. This will run during December 2017. Stay tuned for more news!

Houdini blendshape

I’ve created a blendshape node in Houdini that can blend any mesh into another mesh. Vertexcount doesn’t matter and it has animation support. At some point later this year I think I’ll continue to work on it to create less “blobby” blend areas. Think I’ll release it later this year for other users.
